FORESTIS is located 1,800 meters above sea level on the southern slope of the Ploseberg, a mid-dense mountain woodland. The secluded natural location means the hustle and bustle of everyday life is left far behind. As a retreat where essential values such as time, simplicity and naturalness can again be directly experienced, the FORESTIS is aimed at people in search of lasting regeneration and relaxation. And with this in mind, our hotel has been designed throughout to embrace nature and ensure the well-being of guests.

FORESTIS consists of a historic wooden building supplemented by three wooden towers modeled on towering trees. The clear aesthetic and timeless design of this hideaway, which has largely been constructed from natural materials from the immediate environment, puts nature center stage. Floor-to-ceiling windows mean the sun shines deep into the rooms, while the furnishings created using wood from the surrounding forests exude the resinous fragrance typical of the Alps. The warm stone of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Dolomites, whose peaks are visible from every room, is stylishly worked and features in bathtubs, pool, floors and fountains. Warm natural fabrics, in turn, epitomize the coziness of a sun-kissed retreat in the mountains.

With its generous design and treatments, our Spa also caters to the desire for rest and regeneration. Special treatments and retreats derive inspiration from ancient wisdom and rituals which were developed in this very territory by the Celts, drawing on their profound knowledge of the forest.
