Accommodations
The St. Regis Kanai, Riviera Maya is a paradise basking on the secluded shores of a 620-acre nature reserve along Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. Situated atop preserved red mangrove trees, the architectural masterpiece imitates the constellation Pleiades – known as the celestial birthplace of the Mayans. The ancient Mayan storytelling and folklore are brought to life throughout the resort. The layout of the Mayan calendar is represented through each of the resort’s circular buildings – each with a view facing the Caribbean Sea. Throughout the guestrooms, design elements draw inspiration from ceremonial garments made by the Maya peoples. The circular shapes and hanging mirrors and amenity shelves within the guestroom take inspiration from nearby cenotes. Green marble and fine woods imitate the ecosystem where the resort lays. All rooms and suites have a spacious terrace to enjoy the breathtaking ocean views, and all room categories include St. Regis signature butler service.
